HOMECOMING PARADE DETAILS 9/30!

From: Brian Flaherty <flaherty_brian@hotmail.com>

********************************************************************
2005 HOMECOMING PARADE!!!!!!!!!!

Join the Johnson County Democrats as we march with the University Democrats in the Homecoming parade this Friday, September 30, in Downtown Iowa City.

The parade is always a great chance to meet with fellow Democrats and elected officials and to show your pride in being a Democrat in this great Democratic town.

Our line up position is on Washington St., between Johnson and Dodge. We're on the south side of the street in the middle of the block. We're number fifty four, right behind the Robert's Dairy entry (most likely the giant cow).

Line up begins at 3:00pm for vehicles, and the parade starts at 5:45pm. The parade marshals want all marchers to be in line by 5:00 PM, but if you can't get there until later please join us when you can!

Again, the Details:

What: UI Homecoming Parade
Where: Iowa City, line up (behind the cow!) on Washington St., between Johnson and Dodge
Date: Friday, September 30
When: 5:00PM for a 5:45 start time

Please join us as we wrap up this parade season!

-Brian Flaherty
JC DEMS 2nd Vice Chair
