Announcements from Affirmative Action Committee

From: Jeffrey Fields <jcdemaction@yahoo.com>

Hey Dems,

A couple of quick announcements from the Affirmative Action Committee:

1) Amy Correia, candidate for Iowa City City Council, needs our help with GOTV telephone calls. Call lists will be available for pick up on November 4th and 5th. The calls will need to be made on Sunday November 6th or Monday November 7th. Any number of calls is helpful. If you have questions, or available to help, please contact Keri Neblett at kerineblett@hotmail.com or 354-4210 or contact me at JCDemAction@yahoo.com or 319-339-0994. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. If you can help for an hour or two, well see you there.

2) If you have not already, please sign up for the JCDem A-Team listserv/yahoo group by visiting http://groups.yahoo.com/group/JCDemA-Team/ or by sending an e-mail to JCDemA-Team-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. The group is being used for announcements and coordinating the A-Teams work. We promise that you will not be inundated with soapbox dialogues, requests for contributions, or other unrelated messages.

3) If you have signed up for the JCDem A-Team listserv/group, please forward this message to one person who is not a member. We are going to be very busy registering voters, recruiting candidates, and getting people to the polls in the next 13 months. If you believe that difference matters, and youre not afraid of a little hard work, then the A-Team needs you.

Thanks for reading,

Jeffrey Fields
