Swearing in Ceremony, 12/30

Hello to all of you.
I wanted to let you all know that the swearing in ceremony for the county elected officials will take place on Thursday, December 30th at 9am.
This will take place during the meeting for the Johnson County Board of Supervisors. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.

This past weekend the Iowa Democratic Party State Central Committee elected its new officers. Our new state Chair is Lt. Gov. Sally Pederson.
The other state party officials are:
Rob Tully of Des Moines as first vice chairman
Sara Swisher of Iowa City as second vice chairwoman
Jim Hutter of Ames, secretary
Ken Sagar of Des Moines, treasurer.
Congratulations to our own Sarah for her new state party role. She'll be a real asset to the IDP!
