Hey Dems,

The A-Team met on Mayy 11th and is pushing forward with our various
projects. This is a short note because my day job is requiring my day
and night attention right now.

Juneteenth Civic Engagement Event: The big news is that this event will
be on Sunday June 26th at 2pm at the Iowa City Public Library. The
date was moved because June 19th is Father's Day. We are still going
to call it a Juneteenth event because it's still in the spirit of
Juneteenth. More details to come.

African American Churches/Ministers: Initial contact has been made and
James and hoping to sit down with each minister in early June, and gain
their assistance in recommending partipants in the Juneteenth Event.
