Join Democratic Candidate for State Senate in Lone Tree Parade Saturday
This Saturday's Lone Tree Parade offers Johnson County Democrats the opportunity to turn out and meet a candidate hoping to defeat a REPUBLICAN who currently represents part of our county!
Becky Schmitz, a retired AEA employee and Fairfield Democrat hopes to be the Democratic nominee to take on Republican State Senator David Miller, who's district includes the southern third of Johnson County. Join your fellow Johnson County Democrats and Becky for a parade in her district Saturday in Lone Tree. She looks forward to meeting us.

(please arrive between 9:45 and 10:30!)
As always, I'll have yard signs and banners to carry and candy to toss. So come out and support a candiadte that can take us to a majority in the Iowa Senate!

Bush's 50 State Unpopularity
Survey USA has once again put out the 50 state Bush ratings. Assuming - and it's a big and fallacious assumption - that Bush Unfavorable equals a Democratic vote, here's the map:
A 435 to 79 electoral college landslide, with Louisiana and North Carolina too close to call.
