The Second District Workshop and Dinner is coming up soon, Saturday,
August 13. The program is impressive -- the workshop incorporates a
number of interesting training tracks. In addition, a reception will be
held following the workshop. The workshop is nearby at the West Liberty
Community Center, just off Hwy 6 in W. Liberty. It would be great if
Johnson County Dems were well represented!

In the evening there will be a fundraising dinner, featuring the
announced Democratic candidates for Governor (and then some!) The
dinner is $40 a plate, proceeds will be used by the 2nd District
Central Committee to further the Democratic effort.

register for the workshop by sending an email to DJ Arnold with your
Name, Address, and if you are attending the workshop, dinner (or both)
and if you want lunch. If you can send DJ your money early that is
great but it can also be collected the day of the workshop.
