From the Chair
The next meeting of the JC Dem Central Committee is Thursday, April 7th at 7PM. The executive meeting will begin at 6:15 (please note slightly earlier time time than usual).

Dave Loebsack, a great friend of the JC Dems, will speak briefly to the CC at the beginning of the meeting on his interest in running for Congress in the 2nd District.

The Executive Committee, upon the consensus instruction of the Central Committee, has begun the process to develop a strategic plan for the next four years. This plan will establish the direction of the Johnson County Democratic Party, set priorities and identify obstacles and opportunities that may limit or enable us to carry out our mission. Jason Friedman, CC Member, will provide details on the process and the role of the Central Committee in developing the plan. Central Committee members should make a point of attending as many of the next four to five meetings as possible in order to provide input and recieve progress information. If you can't attend, please touch base with your precinct co-captain to make sure your precinct has representation in this important process.
