Future of courts after Nov 2, 10/27

"What's at Stake? The 2004 Election, Judicial Nominations and the
Future of American Law"
Herman Schwartz, distinguished Professor of law at American University,
and controversial author of _Right Wing Justice: the Conservative
Campaign Take over the Courts_ and _The Rehnquist Court: Judicial
Activism on the Right_ will visit the University Of Iowa College Of Law
on Wednesday, October 27, at 4:00pm, in Levitt Auditorium, to discus
the important issue of federal judicial nominations. The event is free
and open to the public, and is sponsored by the student chapter of The
American Constitution Society at The University of Iowa College of Law.
